UKELA Annual Conference 2016

The UKELA Annual Conference is taking place in Brighton between Friday 1st – Sunday 3rd July 2016. The theme is ‘From Global to Local’ – how international environmental law affects UK practice in energy, infrastructure, nature conservation, planning, marine and regulation.
Stephen Hockman QC is speaking in the Saturday morning session on the natural world, in a talk entitled ‘International Marine Protection‘ .
Gordon Wignall will present a session on international environmental law entitled ‘A fair outcome in environmental litigation: how can US and European principles be adapted by domestic judges?’
Christopher Badger will be speaking on ‘The rise of international environmental crime’
