Trusts of Land

Members of chambers regularly act for both claimants and defendants in cases concerning the creation, dissolution and rectification of trusts of land, including joint tenancies and tenancies in common arising from the joint purchase or vesting of property. This includes the resolution of matters by agreement or ADR and in contentious litigation before the court, as well as in applications for the appointment or replacement of trustees. As the courts see an increasing number of such matters given the rising value of property generally, chambers expects to remain a strong source of advice and expertise in this area.
