3 Members of Six Pump Court Defend in Robbery Trial
August 7, 2026

Nathan Fitzpatrick, Suzanne Fewins and Ethan Dighton, each represented defendants who were prosecuted for an offence of robbery.
It was alleged that the defendants had approached the complainants whilst they were sat in their vehicle during the early hours of the morning in August 2020, before physically attacking them with what was described as either a cosh or knuckle duster, in order to steal their vehicle.
Each of the defendants argued that the incident in fact started with the occupants of the vehicle inflicting violence upon the third defendant, after asking him for drugs which the third defendant did not have. The complainants then attacked the third defendant, at which point the first and second defendant intervened, triggering a physical altercation between all that were present. The defendants then used the complainant’s vehicle to get away. The vehicle was recovered by police the following day.
Following a Trial at Canterbury Crown Court, each of the defendants were unanimously acquitted of robbery.
Nathan, Suzanne, and Ethan were instructed and assisted throughout by Bond Joseph Solicitors.
