William Upton and Emmaline Lambert have successfully represented the London Borough of Hackney in separate claims for judicial review of two planning permissions. The Claimant’s grounds ranged from issues of confidentiality of financial viability appraisals in relation to members of the public and councillors, the legality of a screening opinion and decision making procedures involving heritage assets.
William Upton and Emmaline Lambert also successfully represented the London Borough of Hackney in the Court of Appeal in relation to the same claimant’s application for permission to appeal on the interim ruling of Patterson J on disclosure of the confidential financial viability appraisals.
