Rochester man represented by Thomas Stern cleared by jury of rapes

A Rochester man accused of a campaign of rapes has been acquitted by a jury at Maidstone Crown Court. The offending was alleged to have taken place over a period of four years, involving fifteen to twenty separate incidents. The defendant vehemently denied any sexual activity had occurred without consent. The trial lasted nine days, concluding on 27th April 2023 and the jury needed just two hours to accept the defence submissions and reach its unanimous verdicts.

The defendant was represented by Thomas Stern who was instructed by Mr Aaron White of Takk & Co., Maidstone .
