POCA in Planning Enforcement seminar

October 5, 2015

On 29th September 2015, Stuart Jessop and Laura Phillips spoke to delegates at the Royal Town Planning Institute’s seminar entitled, ‘POCA in Planning Enforcement‘.

They lectured on the subject of the Proceeds of Crime Act in other disciplines, with Stuart focussing on the potential use of money laundering offences in planning breaches, and Laura examining recent case law and the relevance of the key principles for those involved in planning enforcement.

The talk was well received with some audience members commenting that they found the lecture very useful in giving them an awareness of how the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (as viewed from the perspective of other disciplines) could assist them in their roles in the context of planning enforcement.
