How can Courts and Tribunals help to minimise climate change

As part of the UN Climate Change Conference taking place in Bonn this month, Stephen Hockman QC will be chairing a session entitled ‘How can Courts and Tribunals help to minimise climate change’.

Speakers will discuss the role of the national and international courts and tribunals in the settlement of environmental disputes and whether existing international mechanisms and institutions need to be refined. They will also address the question of whether a new international environmental court needs to be established.
