Gordon Wignall called to the Bar of Ireland

October 25, 2019

On 10 October Gordon Wignall was one of 55 students (and also one of 13 EC Directive entrants) admitted to the degree of barrister-at-law in Ireland, and then admitted the next day in the Supreme Court to the Irish Bar. His sponsor was a former Chairman of the Irish Bar, Paul McGarry SC.

With Ian Thomas (a barrister in Chambers) also being a practising solicitor in Ireland, Chambers is looking forward to enjoying even more of the Irish hospitality which Gordon reports from his visit.

Several members of Chambers are attending the Dublin International Arbitration day on 15 November, which will include a session on funding.
