Anthony Connerty Memorial Lecture
1st March 2023
Anthony Connerty (26.12.1938 – 2.4.2022) was a member of Six Pump Court Chambers and a pioneer in international commercial arbitration at the bar. Among many initiatives, he founded the IDR (International Dispute Resolution) Group, which brought together arbitrators, lawyers, and academics in London and around the world. The group organised numerous conferences, seminars, and latterly a programme of webinars. Having lost its founder and leading light, its committee has decided to wind up the IDR Group. This lecture, to be delivered by one of its distinguished members, is supported by the group and will be an occasion to commemorate its work and Anthony’s remarkable career in the company of his colleagues, friends and family.
