Chambers welcomes Doug Scott following successful completion of pupillage

We are very pleased to welcome Doug Scott who now joins Chambers following the successful completion of his pupillage. He was supervised by Mark Watson KC and Stuart Jessop during this time.

Doug has already developed a successful criminal practice; both defending and prosecuting. He also often acts for local authorities and his experience ranges from prosecuting environmental offences in the Crown Court to representing the local authority in taxi licence appeal hearings.

In addition, Doug has gained extensive drafting experience, including grounds of appeal against sentence, grounds of claim for judicial review, grounds of appeal against the decisions of public bodies and cost submissions.

He accepts instructions in all of Chambers’ practice areas.
