Simon Taylor and Tom Dunn begin murder trial at Maidstone Crown Court
September 9, 2016
Simon Taylor and Tom Dunn, instructed on behalf of the prosecution by the South Eastern Complex Case Work Unit of the CPS, have begun the trial of Mark Love at Maidstone Crown Court in relation to charges of murder and aggravated burglary.
The prosecution’s case is that Mr Love was part of a gang that broke into Roy Blackman’s home address in Biddenden at some point during the night of 20 March 2016. He was stripped naked and then beaten to death – after which the gang made off with a safe thought to contain around £250,000.
The trial is expected to last 2 to 3 weeks.
