Major Launch of New Industry Food Hygiene Guide

David Travers QC will chair an event to launch the publication of the long-awaited Industry Guide to Good Hygiene Practice: Catering 2016 on 11th July 2016 at the RAF Club in London.
Catherine Brown the Chief Executive of the Food Standards Agency and Dr Lisa Ackerley will be speaking, and David Travers QC will then facilitate a Q & A session with Lisa and Darryl Thomson (Head of Safety at Mitchells & Butlers) and Robert Kitchen (Head of Safety and QA at Nando’s).
The Guide is the first update to the original guidelines in over 20 years. It has been put together by a team of food safety and risk experts from the British Hospitality Association working together with the Food Standards Agency.
This publication is an essential reference tool for the food industry and will help drive up standards by providing the catering industry with clear and up-to-date practical advice on how to comply with their responsibilities under food hygiene legislation.
