Role Description

Resources Management

  • Managing the photocopier, printer, Wi-Fi, firewall and broadband, and telecommunications resources in Chambers (London and Maidstone).
  • Negotiating these contracts on behalf of the Chambers (offices in London and Maidstone).
  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of these services – monitoring service provision, issues and costs as well as liaising with suppliers on a regular basis to develop and monitor service provision and keep abreast of changes.
  • Assisting in managing the provision and delivery of the IT service within Chambers. Assisting in negotiating the contracts and assisting with day-to-day issues.
  • Maintaining records of contracts, checking invoices against Chambers’ books and filing all relevant communications with suppliers.

Administration Roles

  • Point of contact for internal and external compliance matters in Chambers.
  • Maintaining and developing compliance records including with regards to privacy and information security, staff training, CPD, Public Access qualifications.
  • Providing administrative support and generating reports for the Senior Clerk and for Chambers’ Management Committee when required.

Marketing

  • Liaising with Chambers’ marketing consultants in relation to planned events and legal directory submissions.
  • Assisting, as required, with the advertising and running of Chambers’ seminars, events, etc.

24 hours per week (flexible working available) – [£45,000 p/a pro-rated]
