Ian Whitehurst instructed in £117 million confiscation case arising from large-scale drugs conspiracy

Ian Whitehurst has been instructed by the defence in a £117 million confiscation case arising from a large-scale drugs conspiracy. The confiscation case arises from a conspiracy to supply Class A drugs in the north west & south west of England.

The defendant is a key defendant in the case and believed to have been responsible for the supply of drugs over a substantial period. Further allegations are that the defendant has hidden assets and the POCA proceedings involve complex issues of disclosure and hidden assets and the alleged criminal benefit is £117 million.
