Emin Kandola, led by Rupert Bowers KC (Doughty Street Chambers), defend in a multi-handed £1.4 million jewellery heist trial at Woolwich Crown Court. The conspiracy alleged culminated in a sophisticated robbery that took place at a premises in Richmond during which a large number of very high value watches were taken. The manager of the premises was tied up and the following day, as a direct result of the robbery, took his own life. The trial commences today and will last three weeks.
