Eleanor Laws QC and Catherine Donnelly prosecute alleged paedophile ring in latest Operation Pallial case

Eleanor Laws QC and Catherine Donnelly have opened the prosecution this week in the latest of the cases to be brought as part of the Operation Pallial investigation. Operation Pallial is the largest investigation into historic abuse in the UK. It was set up following allegations of historical child abuse in North Wales.
In the latest prosecution beginning this week, seven men are accused of a total of 47 offences of sexual abuse against five alleged victims which took place as part of a paedophile ring operating in the north Wales area in the 1980’s.
