David Travers QC participates in English Law Day in Colombia

David Travers QC took part in a virtual conference as part of the English Law in Colombia programme.
With opening remarks from the President of the Law Society, David Greene and the Chair of the Bar Amanda Pinto QC, the event was skilfully organised and supported by the British and Colombian Chamber of Commerce as well as ANDI – Camera de Servicios Legales, the Bar Council and the Law Society.
David Travers QC spoke on day one about the international, EU and UK legal frameworks to discourage greenhouse gas emissions, as part of a discussion about energy and the environment which explored some of the issues surrounding green finance. Day two was about Infrastructure and day three dealt with International Arbitration in a Columbian context.
