Daniel Stevenson appointed as a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts)

Chambers wishes to announce that Daniel Stevenson has recently been appointed as a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts).
The King appointed him on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Shabana Mahmood MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable the Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
The Lady Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Thames Magistrates’ Court with effect from 21 July 2025.
He will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Stevenson. Daniel was called to the Bar (Lincoln’s inn) in 2002 and was appointed as a Recorder in 2023.
