In an interview for the newly launched Lawyer Portal, Mukhtiar Singh speaks about his decision to change career later in life to practise as a barrister.

He discusses the reasons for this change and the challenges of studying part-time for a law degree whilst still working and raising a family. Mukhtiar talks about the process of securing pupillage and the experience gained with pupil supervisors: Simon Taylor, Gordon Menzies and Mark Beard.
