Call: 2022

Kiera joined Chambers in March 2025 having completed the final stages of pupillage in 2023.

Kiera has a broad and varied practice with a focus on criminal and regulatory matters. She has developed a busy practice prosecuting and defending in the Magistrates’, Crown and Youth Courts.

Kiera is known for her meticulous case preparation and her ability to build a strong rapport with both lay and professional clients, providing realistic, clear advice that inspires confidence.

She prosecutes on behalf of the CPS as a Grade 2 Panel Advocate for General Crime. Kiera also has experience in quasi-criminal matters, having defended applications for sexual harm prevention orders and stalking protection orders.

Kiera has a growing professional discipline and regulatory practice; she is a case presenter for the Nursing and Midwifery Council and has defended in cases before the Health and Care Professionals Council and General Medical Council.

Prior to commencing pupillage, Kiera was a Senior Paralegal at a busy solicitor’s firm where she successfully managed her own caseload of criminal defence and regulatory work. She undertook a broad range of duties, assisting the Managing Partner in a variety of matters including murder, manslaughter and serious sexual offences. As a result of her work as a paralegal, Kiera has a firm understanding of the demands placed on solicitors and the importance of building strong working relationships with those instructing her.
