Air pollution law after Brexit

December 4, 2017

William Upton is addressing the Investigation of Air Pollution Standing Conference (IAPSC) today in Birmingham on the implications of Brexit for air quality legislation in the UK.

In addition to the general points that can be made, William’s recent experience of air quality issues has been at an Environmental Permitting appeal for a manufacturer of waste-derived fuel, at a Local Plan examination in Kent and at a large-scale housing planning appeal.

A common theme in them has been the real concerns about increasing traffic emissions.
